When do they worship?
BUDDHISM
Buddhist worship depends not only on the country, but the sect and the individual. Some rituals are held based on the ritual calendar while others are performed by request. People may go to the temple to worship at any time or when they feel it is needed as a monk's presence is not required.

CHRISTIANITY
Worship can be and should be done any time. Usually, Christians going to church service is a formalized period of communal worship, often but not exclusively occurring on Sunday, or Saturday. The church service is the gathering together of Christians to be taught the "Word of God" (the Christian Bible) and encouraged in their faith. Technically, the "church" in "church service" refers to the gathering of the faithful rather than to the building in which it takes place. This is very different to other religions as they are more ceremonial and have more structured rituals. Christians can worship God in whatever form they want, and so they can do it at any time.

HINDUISM
The Aarti is performed one to five times daily. These rituals vary in different regions. While the Aarti is usually done after the puja in south India, it is done after the bhajan (singing a devotional song to the deity) in north India. The frequency of these rituals, as expected, also varies depending on the faith of the devotee. Some who are "cultural Hindus" and is not exactly devoted to the religion itself does not repeat these rituals as often as one who is a true believer. In general, Hindus worship whenever they wish to, but is usually done daily at each household shrine by anyone in the family to represent the whole household. There are also worships in festivals of each god during the year. People, whether associated or not with the deity may choose to participate or stay at home and worship the god.
